GT9600 - Acies Diversity Digital Set top Box
In a further expansion of its marine entertainment product portfolio, GME has announced the introduction of GT9600 Acies Digital Television Receiver, finally a cost effective solution to TV reception on boats.
The GME Acies digital receiver overcomes the age old problem of TV reception on boats. By drawing on over 45 year experience in television signal engineering and the latest digital reception techniques, GME’s Acies compact digital receiver, provides as the name suggests, clear, focused pictures whether moored or underway anywhere within the free to air digital transmission footprint.
Not to be confused with the lower cost single tuner domestic digital receivers GME’s Acies diversity receiver contains two integrated tuners both set to the same frequency. A Digital Signal Processor (DSP) constantly monitors information from both tuners to generate the best signal and consequently the best possible picture at all times.
Covering the entire VHF and UHF Australian digital TV spectrum, the GME Acies receiver package operates from the vessels standard 12 volt system; is supplied complete with mounting hardware, all interconnection cables and user remote control. For optimum performance, GME strongly recommends that a matching pair of AE 341T custom marine external aerials be used.
The GME GT9600 is a fully featured digital receiver, with Teletext, infrared wireless remote control, ideally suited to the marine environment with conformally coated circuit boards and various mounting options.
For larger vessels multiple GT9600 receivers can be connected to a single antenna set via GME’s Kingray series of signal splitters and distribution amplifiers.
