RP3800V VHF 136-174 MHz Commercial Repeater
The RP3800V was developed utilizing two of the highly successful VHF RP3820V mobile units to provide a VHF 136 MHz – 174 MHz 25 Watt repeater system. Like the UHF version the RP3800V is also ideal for use in remote sites powered by solar panels.
The RP3800V incorporates many features not normally found in such a low cost unit. It addresses the specific needs of individual users while retaining commonality with the GME range of commercial radio products.
The modular construction of the RP3800V makes it easy to install either as a desktop unit or in a multiple repeater rack arrangement as shown above. The 19" rack mounting has the added advantage of allowing easy field servicing and the combined conduction and convection cooling allows the transmitter to operate at 100% duty cycle at full output.
The unique inbuilt telemetry circuits will allow an operator to monitor and control a variety of functions and options in the RP3800V
