We purchased our GME TX667 hand-held twin pack with recharge base about 7 months ago to use on our small 2.5 acre farm. The units are compact and easily slide into a shirt or pant pocket. We find them very convenient on our property, generally using one as a base station inside the homestead and the other as a mobile unit. The reception is clear and the range is more than suitable for our situation. We also use our GME hand-held 2 way radios when we go camping and bush walking with friends. Overall, a robust and easy to operate form of communication. We are very happy with our purchase.

Clear Audio Quality and Excellent Battery Life

We use these 1 watt radios in a slightly unusual way. We record a lot of commercials, on hold messages and video narrations from our home studio. Rather than drill a bunch of holes for an intercom, I can direct the session using the GME radios. The audio quality is very clear, the battery life excellent and the battery charger is very neat.
