‘Swift and Sure’, GME partners with the Certa Cito Foundation – Supporting Signals and the Communications Community

In an alignment of interests and a demonstration of commitment to Australia’s serving and veteran community, GME and the Certa Cito Foundation have entered a significant sponsorship arrangement to support the Australian Defence Force’s Signals and Communications community.

The Cert Cito Foundation, established over 25 years ago to support members and veterans of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, continues their focus on supporting this community, and the broader Signals and Communications family, as RA Sigs celebrates and commemorates their centenary year in 2025.

The Certa Cito Foundation’s moto Care Connect Commemorate, describes accurately how their time and resources are spent. The Foundation Cares for their community, through advocacy, moral, welfare and financial support and opportunities for education support. They work to Connect their membership to each other – veterans, serving members and their families – and to industry and government. And they Commemorate the work of the community, with a special focus in 2025 on the RA Sigs centenary, to create a sense of belonging across the community, as well as elevating awareness within the Australian community of the sacrifice made by so many, to deliver the Australian way of life we all enjoy.

“As a registered charity, the Certa Cito Foundation is dedicated to supporting our Signals people, those serving and veterans alike, their families and those who work with our Signals people in Navy, Air Force and the broader Defence enterprise” said James Roche, Vice President of the CCF. “To be effective we need funding, and we thank all those who donate or contribute as members. GME’s sponsorship is significant and a real enabler of our work, particularly our support to ‘the Sigs’ celebrating their centenary year. The sponsorship provided by GME will directly support our work to care, connect and commemorate our Signals and Communications Community.”

We are very proud to be associated with the CCF and look forward to helping them support the people who support Australia in times of need” said Chris Rule, General Manager Defence at GME.

“In our business we are dealing with ‘Signals people’ all the time. We are ‘Signals people’. And like the CCF we recognise the importance of our shared community. It’s a great match”.
