I've been using UHF radios for most of my life. In 1996 I started working as a wild game harvester and needed a UHF radio for communication with property owners and others in the same line of work. I was using another brand of radio but it simply didn't take to abuse the rough roads dished out, the dust and constant use I needed the radio to take. I was introduced to GME by a friend and bought my first GME radio the next day and never looked back. I will often sell the car but not the radio. My new XRS370 is awesome, it's mounted in my RAM 1500 touring off-road beast and is always turned on. The radio is powerful and the audio is crystal clear, love the radio. Terrific Playback & Speaker, Frustrating Offline Mapping Issue

Play back feature is terrific, I use this often and is handy to not have to ask to repeat transmissions. The display is great and easy to see. The speaker in the hand piece is the best and has excellent volume. The one feature that does really annoy me because it does not work is the offline mapping. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the save icon does not show up on the app on my phone so I can not save maps for offline use when out of mobile reception. This was really frustrating when in the high country as the map box maps are awesome, but useless when you can't access them when in remote areas. I have rung and spoken to gme techs about this quite a while back but the problem has still not been addressed. If this issue was fixed in the app I would give it 5 stars as it truely does make your product top class, but sadly I can only give 4 stars because of this. Please work out what is going on here and update your app to repair this problem, thanks. Rob

I researched many UHF radios before purchasing this GME product. It is very robust and suited my needs exactly. This is Australian made so it is suited to the extreme conditions that 4 x 4 driving can produce. The main unit will fit almost anywhere out of sight. I chose the 4 x 4 pack as a starter and will be adding a 6.6 db antenna for the highway. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a UHF that will withstand the tough Australian conditions.

The product looks awesome and fits perfectly in my Ford Raptor. The installation was a breeze once I got past the firewall grommet. Here's a tip: use a sharpie to cut the grommet from both sides. It'll save you a ton of time and frustration. I can't believe I managed to do it myself! My wife is still in shock that I managed such a clean install. The wiring to the roof-mounted Auxiliary switch, which was already installed by the factory under the bonnet, was a piece of cake. The radio works great and sounds crystal clear. I'm so happy with my new setup. I should mention that I did the installation myself. Happy days!

I have been using GME Products for years. I'm an avid camper, tourer and outdoor explorer. I Recently upgraded to an XRS-370 and an XRS-660 handheld for the added functionality. Both are solid products, and easy to use. I picked up the XRS-660 for when I am out in the scrub and need a reliable radio that can handle the elements. Next on the list is a PLB.
