GME Hosts Australian Army Delegates In Support Of C4 EDGE Program

For over 60 years, GME has been a proudly 100% Australian owned and operated company, that has been an industry leader in RF communications. Leveraging this heritage, GME recently joined the C4 EDGE program, working with industry partners to develop a proof-of-concept sovereign tactical communications environment for battlegroup and below applications for the Australian Army.

As a member of the C4 EDGE program, GME is proud to showcase our sovereign industrial capability to the Defence industry, and through collaborations and innovation, work closely with other members of C4 EDGE to create bespoke communications solutions for the Australian Army.

In support of the program, GME recently took the opportunity to host delegates from the Australian Army at our headquarters in Western Sydney.

Representing the Army; COL Deane Limmer, LTCOL Phil Ellsmore and WO1 Scott McConochie toured GME’s Winston Hills head office and manufacturing facility, taking the opportunity to discuss the C4 EDGE program in detail, in addition to GME’s potential for future growth as a committed supplier to the Australian Defence Force.

The Australian Army delegates were able to observe first-hand the unique engineering, testing, and manufacturing capabilities that GME brings to the C4 EDGE program, ensuring that GME is well placed to support Australian Army communications requirements well into the future.
