GME Named as Gold Sponsor for the 2016 RTCM Annual Meeting & Conference

GME, Australia’s pre-eminent marine electronics manufacturer has been named as the Gold Sponsor for the 2016 Radio Technical Committee for Maritime Services annual meeting and conference.

GME’s Managing Director Warwick Clancy “We have long recognised the value of our RTCM membership and having representation on various international standard committees. We were delighted to become further involved when the opportunity arose to become a major sponsor for the 2016 event in Florida”.

The 2016 meeting will be held at the Duval Conference Centre in Clearwater Florida over the week commencing May 15 and finishing up on Friday May 20 with the annual COSPAS SARSAT Beacon Manufacturer’s Workshop. The program includes a series of formal paper presentations, panel sessions, workshops, and meetings of RTCM Special Committees and other organisations.

The meeting, as always, is open to both RTCM members and non-members from around the world, and is structured to provide attendees with an overall update on the rapidly changing world of marine radio communications, electronic navigation and associated matters.

The formal meeting sessions are complemented by displays and demonstrations of the latest in maritime radio communications and radionavigation technology, equipment and services. These are provided through the cooperation and participation of RTCM member organisations.
